New to the Neighborhood?

welcome

Welcome to the neighborhood and congratulations on your new home! On behalf of the Knottingwood Estates’ Homeowners’ Association and the other homeowners of Knottingwood Estates, we would like to welcome you to our subdivision.

The Knottingwood Estates’ Homeowners’ Association (HOA) is governed by a board of five volunteers. The Board is elected annually by the neighborhood to oversee the financial responsibilities of the HOA. The Board is also responsible for maintaining compliance with the covenants and by-laws of the HOA.  Please take some time to read through the current by-laws of Knottingwood Estates.  A copy of our most current by-laws is available on the Documents and Forms page of this website.

This website and our e-mail newsletter, Knottingwood News, are the primary forms of communication for the neighborhood. Upcoming events, announcements, and meeting minutes can all be found on the website. If you don’t find the information you need here, the Board can be contacted through the Contact Us page. Please register on the Home page with a valid e-mail address to receive notices when this website is updated.  In addition, please use the Contact Us page to provide us with your e-mail address to receive Knottingwood News.

As a new homeowner, you may already have some ideas on how you’d like to improve your property. Please keep in mind, the Association has an Architectural Review Board to evaluate any plans for exterior remodeling (such as decks, patios, in-ground pools, room additions, fences, etc.) to ensure compliance with all covenants and by-laws.  All plans for modifications to the exterior of your property must be submitted to the Architectural Review Board for approval before any work begins. If work is started without prior approval, the homeowner may be required to alter or remove the changes. An Architectural Review Form can be submitted digitally at Architectural Review Form.

Finally, annual assessments are due in April each calendar year.  Notices are sent via USPS. An annual meeting to elect Board members and the Architectural Review Board is held every spring.

Again, welcome to Knottingwood Estates!  We know you’ll find our neighborhood is a great place to live.

Sincerely,

Knottingwood Estates’ Homeowners’ Association Board
