Did you know that Butler County’s Emergency Notification System (ENS) provides mass notification via phone to West Chester residents in the event of an emergency? The purpose of the notification system is to notify residents about natural or man-made disasters, missing persons, public health issues and any other situation where timely notification is likely to be essential and useful. The notification system does not replace weather warning sirens. In fact, ENS will NOT be used to alert residents of a tornado, because time is so critical.
All listed, land-based telephone numbers in West Chester are automatically included in the notification system. However, if you have an unlisted number or rely solely on your cell phone, you must take action in order to receive these notifications.
Click Here To Enter Your Unlisted Or Cell Phone Number Into The System. Keep in mind, it could take up to a month to add your number to the list.
Only one number may be entered into the system per address.
